JEE ADVANCED 2025 Exam Pattern

JEE ADVANCED has two question papers, Paper I and Paper II and each paper consists of three sessions physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Both papers are conducted in computer-based Tests, and both papers are Compulsory. For Architecture, there is an aptitude test - the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) which is conducted only with pen & paper. JEE Advanced 2025 Examination Pattern

The examination will be held online mode a Computer Based Test (CBT).

There will be two Papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2 and both these papers are compulsory.

Each question paper will have three separate sections (1) Physics (2) Chemistry and (3) Mathematics.

Each paper will have 3 hours duration.

Questions will be of objective type (Multiple Choice or Numerical answer) questions to test the academic, comprehension reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.

Question papers will be in English and Hindi with a provision to choose /switch the preferred language at any time during the examination.

Full marks, partial marks, and zero marks as per the answers provided by the candidates will be awarded. There will be negative markings for some questions.

It is advisable for the candidates to read carefully and comply with the detailed instructions provided in the question paper.

If any question is found to be wrong in the question paper, full marks for that question/questions will be awarded to all candidates.
