IIT Students Selected in Army

Thirty one students of Nuzvid IIIT, got selected in the campus recruitment drive organised by Army Recruitment Board, Secunderabad.
The selected students will attend for Service Selection Board (SSB) at all India level soon. They would be recruited in the cadre of Scientific Officers and Technical Officers in Defence Labs, said the IIIT Director Ibrahim Khan.
As many as 100 boys attended for interviews of which 31 were shortlisted in the interviews, said Mr. Khan and hoped that the students will get through in the final selections too. The Sahara India has awarded Sahara Scholarships for 12 NCC students of IIIT. Selections were made based on the merit in academics and in NCC. Sahara India will award Rs.12,000 for the selected students, said the Director.
