Well I'm currently pursuing ancient history and archaeology in the University of Mysore. Being a student, i can confirm that the location is wonderful. The college has all the facilities for the students as well as employees. It has good amenities and infrastructure is decent. It provides both bachelors and master in the University. There are uncountable number of departments of various subjects. People are good as well and also polite to help others

Campus Facilities: I guess we have 3 canteens in the college. The main canteen is near the clock tower. All kinds of food is prepared there, from Chinese to South Indian and also quick snacks. Food is good and hygienic. Coming down to hostels, there are 3. Seperated boys and girls and one for the international students. The college has a central library which has books of all the subjects. It is divided into 3 floors. One of them is for computers and the other was for magazine and newspapers. We have a cricket ground attached and a normal ground of Red stones where all the sports activities take place. The college also provides post office as well as SBI Bank and ATM. Closings are clean, dekha and chairs are stable. Each classroom has a projector and a green board. They are well ventilated. Sone departments especially science ones have laboratories with all the equipments and amenities.

Campus Life: Well campus is good. We do have some great events held. Every festival is also celebrated. Dr Ambedkar is recognised here and we do celebrate his jayanti. Dusshera is also beautifully celebrated and the whole college is lit up with lights. Sports activities are held by different departments.

Faculty: In my department, the faculty is good. Teachers and staffs are kind and helpful. I can go with any problems. They provide notes both in English and Kannada.

Placements: I cannot say anything about placements coz under my subject there is nothing like that. We have to clear net exam to become successful. One can also join colleges as assistant professor clearing state exam.
