WBJEE 2024: Mop-up round seat allotment result to be announced today

WBJEE Counselling 2024: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will announce the results for the mop-up round seat allotment today (August 9). Counselling is an important stage for students who want to secure admission to engineering and pharmacy courses across West Bengal.

Students interested can visit the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in to secure a seat in the mop-up round. Candidates who will secure a seat in the mop-up round need to follow specific steps to confirm their admission.

The first step is the payment of the seat acceptance fee, which must be completed online through the official WBJEEB portal. Candidates must ensure that this payment is made within the stipulated time frame, as any delay or failure to pay the fee may result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.

The WBJEE seat acceptance fee is Rs 5000 which can be paid via credit card, debit card, UPI or net banking.

Following the payment of the acceptance fee for West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE), candidates are required to report to their respective allotted institutes for document verification. It is imperative to carry all necessary documents, including the seat allotment letter, admit card, rank card, and any other relevant certificates.

These documents are essential for the verification process, and failure to present them could lead to complications in securing admission. Once the document verification is successfully completed, candidates will receive an admission confirmation letter from the institute.

The final deadline for reporting to the allotted institutes and completing all the necessary admission formalities is August 12. Candidates are advised to adhere to this deadline to avoid any issues that could jeopardise their admission.

The mop-up round is the last opportunity for candidates who have not secured a seat in the previous rounds of counselling.
