Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA) has begun registering for the Phase-I exams of the Mudra Institute of Communications Admissions Test (MICAT). MICAT is the mandatory entrance examination for those aspiring to take admission into different courses offered by MICA; including the PGDM and PGDM-C programmes.
MICA, known as one of India's premier management schools, offers a diverse range of academic programmes, including the 1-year Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Crafting Creative Communications (CCC), the 4-year Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), as well as PGDM and PGDM-C.

Candidates are required to complete the online registration process by the given deadline of November 20.
Exam pattern

MICAT is a computer-based exam of 2 hours and 15 minutes. The test consists of three segments. Section A consists of a Psychometric test (150 questions); Section B comprises an Aptitude test (100 questions); and Section C, with a Descriptive test (04 questions)
Eligibility
Following are the basic eligibility criteria, check programme-specific requirements before applying:

  • Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree obtained from a recognized college or university.
  • Individuals with a bachelor's degree in any academic discipline meet the qualification criteria.
  • Aspiring candidates intending to take the admission exams, including the CAT, XAT, and GMAT, are encouraged to apply; however, they must attain a minimum score of 50% to be considered for weightage.
  • Candidates are required to have successfully completed both their 10+2 education and their bachelor's degree.
  • Students in their final year of study may also submit applications for MICAT.

MICAT 2024 registration process step-by-step
Step 1: Go to MICA's official website at Click on the 'Apply Now' tab located on the landing page.
Step 3: Complete the one-time registration and generate your login credentials.
Step 4: Click on the 'Go to Application Form' button in the top right corner of the new window.
Step 5: Fill out the application form by providing your personal information, uploading required documents, and entering academic and work experience details.
Step 6: Choose the national-level MBA entrance exams you plan to take or have already taken.
Step 7: Select your preferred program and examination city.
Step 8: Pick your preferred city for the Group Exercise & Personal Interview center from the dropdown menu.
Step 9: Pay the application fee using your preferred payment method.
Step 9: Keep a screenshot or save a pdf of your confirmation page for future reference.
