JNU Conducts CEEB in December 2017 Apply Now.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will be conducting Combined Entrance Exam for Biotechnology (CEEB) on 30th December 2017. Earlier JNU CEEB was held in the month of May/ June but starting this year the examination will be conducted in the month of December. The entrance examination is held for admission in to M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Tech Biotechnology, M.V.Sc. course and MSc. Agriculture courses offered by different participating universities. Application forms are available online and the last date to submit application forms is 13th October 2017.

JNU CEEB 2018 Examination Details

Time duration for JNU CEEB us 3 hours. The entrance exam question paper will consists of 2 parts namely Part A and Part B.

Part A: Part A will consists of 60 multiple choice question, each question will carry 1 mark. The questions will pertain to Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology of 10+2 level. Each wrong answer will have a negative marking of 0.50 marks.

Part B: Part B will consist of 100 multiple choice question, candidates must attempt 60 questions. For every correct answer candidates will score 3 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

JNU CEEB 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4/5) with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent from a recognized university or college in the relevant subjection mentioned below for the concerned institution. Reservation and concession are applicable as mandated by the Govt. of India.

JNU CEEB 2018 Application Procedure

  • Candidates can apply both online and offline for JNU CEEB 2018
  • To apply online candidates need to visit the official website of JNU - jnu.ac.in
  • First they will have to register themselves on the website using a valid email ID and mobile number
  • Candidates will then be provided the password using which they will login and fill the application form online
  • Eligible candidates need to fill the application forms by providing accurate personal and educational details. Next they will have to upload scanned copy of passport-sized coloured photograph and signature
  • Finally candidates need to pay the application fee online through online payment gateway

JNU CEEB 2018 Exam Centres

JNU CEEB 2018 will be conducted across more than 50 cities/centres in India and 1 international city/centre in Kathmandu, Nepal.
