JMI Admission 2024: Registration begins for UG, PG entrance test

JMI Admission 2024: The online admission forms for the courses where test will be conducted by JEE, NATA, CUET will be made available ten days from the declaration of results by respective agencies, the university said.
The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has started the registration process for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Students interested in getting admission in JMI will have to first appear for an entrance test. Candidates can register online at the university website for the entrance test by March 30, 2024. The university will conduct the entrance test from April 25. The schedule of admission test for PhD programme for the session 2024-25 will be notified separately, the university said while announcing the admission application for UG and PG programes.
Applicants can register for admission at JMI at jmicoe.in. A candidate is allowed to submit only one form for each programme or group of programmes (with combined entrance test). Multiple submissions of form for the same programme by a candidate may cause rejection, the university said.
For most UG and PG programmes, the university will consider CUET, JEE and other national level test marks.

Admission of eligible candidates to all the UG and PG programmes offered by various faculties and centres of JMI will be done through merit determined on the basis of the entrance test conducted by JMI except BTech, BArch, BDS and a few other courses.
The entrance test will be followed by an interview and/or other components, and will be determined by the department associated.
Candidates obtaining less than 30 per cent marks in the descriptive part of the entrance test, wherever applicable, will not be shortlisted for interview and admission. There will also be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the objective type or multiple choice questions in all programmes of the university.
Candidates scoring less than 15 per cent marks in the objective type or multiple choice questions will not be shortlisted for interview and admission.
For BTech, admission is offered to eligible candidates as per merit on the basis of the final ranks of candidates in JEE Main 2024, BArch admission will be offered to eligible candidates as per merit on the basis of the final ranks of candidates in NATA 2024 conducted by Council of Architecture 2024.
Admission to BDS program will be made on the basis of merit in NEET 2024.
