The Indian Institute of Technology, Dharwad is an autonomous Engineering and Technology institute located in Dharwad, Karnataka, India. It was established in 2016, the institute started functioning from a temporary campus, previously the Water and Land Management Institute (WALMI) in Belur Industrial Area, on the outskirts of Dharwad city. The main campus, spread across 470 acres, is under construction, and a permanent building is being developed at Chikkamaligawad village.

IIT Dharwad is considered one of the premier Engineering institutes in India. It has been ranked 93^rd among the Engineering colleges of India by NIRF in 2023.
