Established by the International Institute of Information Technology University Act, 2013 of the Government of Chhattisgarh, Dr. SPM IIIT-Naya Raipur is a joint venture between the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and the State Government of Chhattisgarh. Situated around 23 kilometres from Raipur, in the recently created smart city of Atal Nagar, is the fifty-acre residential campus of Dr. SPM IIIT-NR. Wi-Fi access, CCTV surveillance, advanced security measures, and first-rate facilities for sports and other leisure pursuits are all available on the dynamic, lush, green IIIT-NR campus. Students are encouraged to be creative and innovative because of the campus's tranquil atmosphere and advanced building style.

Hostel- All of the students at the International Institute of Information and Technology in Naya Raipur have access to accommodation. There are four hostels in the institute: three are reserved for boys and one for girls. From their rooms, hotel guests have access to the campus network and computer resources. IIIT offers its students a "home away from home" experience. Every hostel has a mess of its own. All students must live in hostels; the atmosphere encourages concentration on academics and promotes social, mental, and physical well-being.

Gym- There are two distinct gyms with modern equipment for boys and girls. IIIT Naya Raipur offers both indoor and outdoor (open-air) gymnasium facilities.

Bank & ATM- All students have access to banking facilities through the institute. There is an ATM on the institute grounds, and the United Bank of India is located there as well.

Auditorium- The institute can host sizable technical and cultural events in its 800-seat auditorium, which is centrally air-conditioned.

Library- Part of the administrative building, the Institute library has a plinth area of about 800 square meters and has free wi-fi and central air conditioning. It is spread across two floors.  It supports and enhances academics, students, and researchers' scholarly and informational needs.  It offers collections in multiple formats, including printed textbooks, reference books, periodicals, newspapers, and more.

In its hostels, the institute provides dining areas with separate amenities for boys and girls. It also features a central canteen that serves snacks and different kinds of foods, The mess is managed by a committee comprising of students, staff, and faculty.
